Gateway to Exploration
Travel Nevada Adventure Centers are immersive, interactive visitor hubs designed to spark discovery, support local businesses, and grow Nevada’s outdoor recreation economy. Staffed by knowledgeable partners, these centers help travelers gear up, stay safe, and explore responsibly.

“More than ever before, the need to enhance Nevada’s outdoor recreation infrastructure and status within the outdoor recreation tourism economy has become strikingly apparent. As a state with 86% public land, outdoor activities will always be a primary tourism asset that requires investment.”

Phase 1 Build Sites:
Boulder City & Carson City

Region
Northwestern & Southern

Boulder City
In Boulder City, the Adventure Center draws inspiration from the region’s connection to Lake Mead. The architecture reflects the movement of water, setting the tone for aquatic adventures, desert excursions, and family-friendly outdoor fun.

Carson City
The Carson City Adventure Center will be located on the Nevada State Railroad Museum campus. Designed to complement the museum’s historic architecture, the center will serve as a basecamp for exploring nearby trails, mountain ranges, and cultural sites.
